Purple Hope presents fluid swirls of deep violet, soft rose, and muted seafoam threaded with fine veins of gold that weave across the surface like passing thoughts. The layered movement alternates tension and calm, portraying transformation and quite renewal. I painted this at a time I was using my art to process emotion and heal--each pour follows an emotional rhythm and the composition expresses the strength in contemplation. A luminous, contemplative work that adds depth and warmth to a living room, bedroom or place of quiet reflection.
